So you all know about Times Square, Central Park, The Statue of Liberty, Rockefeller Center and many more iconic places here in New York and around it. We’re also sure you know that New York is one of the most diverse cities in the world when it comes to food. Here you can find anything from the Ukrainian classic pierogis, to the colorful, full of flavor Japanese sushi. But let’s take a step out of the worldwide scene and concentrate on NY’s classics. Three dishes, iconic in the city, from three different restaurants.

  • Bloody Mary – Let’s start off with a drink. And not just any drink, this glass of goodness is a favorite at brunch and some say it’s a cure for hangovers. Either way, it’s delicious and a perfect partner to the Big Apple.

  • Quattro Form Pizza – Ok, ok it’s not exactly from NY, but it’s one of the most popular foods here. In every sitcom that takes place in New York, you always see someone eating a steamy, delicious pizza. No matter the variety, New York’s pizza just always seems to be the best and this one has its cheese game on point. Just one slice is never enough.

  • Mango Cheesecake – Now for the topper. Pizza is great and all, but life needs something sweet to keep its balance. You might think that for dessert you can’t eat cheese again, but that’s where you’re wrong. It’s not just any cheesecake, it’s combined with the sweet tasting fruit : Mango!
