Ahhhh, the smell of summer. It’ so close, but yet so far. As we encroach on the warmer weather and more opportunities to eat outside in the fresh air, we think about what we can eat. Sky’s the limit really, but fresh seafood comes to mind, especially when it’s National Shrimp Day.
That’s right. Now that’s a holiday to celebrate. With the first sunny day that New York has seen in a while, we’re excited. What’s your favorite way to enjoy shrimp? For us, we can’t pick a favorite. Being that we love to indulge, but can’t settle on a certain variety, we’re all for just trying everything today.
Here are a couple of worthwhile dishes to try around New York City on National Shrimp Day!
Black Ink Linguini, Il Melograno
Shrimp Pad Thai, Sweet Basil
Grilled Shrimp, Patrizia’s Of Manhattan
Shrimp Tacos, Anejo
Salt and Pepper Shrimp, Kurry Pavilion
So get your shrimp on, Munchers! There’s no better way to celebrate National Shrimp Day than with some of the best shrimp dishes on the island. Island living, right?
